Lash Lift
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is a temporary perm that mimics the effect of an eyelash curler. Lash lifting enhances the natural lashes, giving them a more defined look along with a beautiful lift with little to no maintenance required.
How long does it last?
Lash lifts last anywhere from from 6-8 weeks, and can be re-lifted as early as 6 weeks.
Am I good candidate for a lash lift?
You can get a lash lift if you:
have healthy lashes
are looking for a low maintenance service, but still want to wear mascara
You are NOT a good candidate for a lash lift if you:
have extremely short, broken, or damaged lashes (don’t worry, we’ll work on it with a growth serum and some time)
have naturally extremely water-y eyes
can’t lay down for 1 hour
have active eye infections/conjunctivitis/blepharitis
have dry eye syndrome/hay fever
have alopecia
What is the aftercare?
Do not get your lashes wet for 24-48 hours! This is the most important one, your lashes WILL fall back down if they get wet. This includes water, steam, oils, serums, makeup, etc. If you have to shower, keep it on the cooler side and don’t get your face in the water. When washing your face, use a clean washcloth to remove you cleanser.
Avoid sleeping on your face and side if possible. Your lashes are still malleable during these 48 hours and can kink slept on.
Will a lash lift damage my lashes?
When done properly by a trained, licensed professional and properly cared for afterwards, no!
Are these lash extensions?
Nope! We’re only dealing with YOUR natural lashes, baby!
My lashes lifted but didn’t last as long this time around, what happened?
It happens every so often! There are some months you may experience a shorter lash cycle due to:
Pregnancy
Postpartum Hair Loss
Health Conditions
Menstrual Cycle
Fall/Spring Hair Sheds
